A Red Letter Day For U6 Collegians

COLLEGIANS rugby league under six Reds have gone through an entire season undefeated after winning a junior gala day at Boronia Park, Windang.

The five wins on the day left Collies with an amazing for and against of 600 points scored while conceding a miserly 136 points.

In game one, star player Noah Methven scored four tries as his side got the better of Dapto Blue in a tough match 26-18.

Collegians then defeated Windang White 22-8, St Johns 24-0 and Thirroul 32-8 before playing Corrimal in the final.

In a hotly contested decider Methven again grabbed four tries as they won 26-18.

The Dave Methven coached side was helped by two players filling in from Collegians Black: Jordan Karakousis and Lachlan Pallier, who both crossed for tries.The rest of the team was: Noah Methven, Wil Heffernan, Max Bartley, Gus Morris, Tasman Cable, Angus Murphy, Thomas Upcroft and Luke Morgan Monk.
