hit Despite all the hungry students the Great Hall must feed, celebrity chef Michael Moore had to install a purpose-built kitchen to feed the 350 glamorous guests a three-course feast. And you could have heard a pin drop when 19-year-old Hanne Friis-O'Toole spoke of the shock of being told her mother had breast cancer. (Her inspirational mother, Kate, also spoke.)

miss There was a grand total of six black tie balls on Thursday night (that we know of!), meaning Sydneysiders really had to play favourites with their causes.
